Snowmobiling

Guided snowmobile tours are a great way to see Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding national forest area. Many of the roads in Yellowstone close during the winter months making snowmobiling through the park a secluded and incredibly scenic trip. Trips in Yellowstone tend to last 10-12 hours, depending on which area you choose to explore. For a shorter 6-8 hour trip, there are multiple tours offered in the surrounding wilderness areas. These trips focus on backcountry snowmobiling which usually entails riding through wide-open powder fields. You can opt to ride to local hot springs and end your wintery adventure with a soak or swim. Our vendors can accommodate any experience level, from first-timers to seasoned veterans. For additional information contact our concierge team at concierge@snakeriverlodge.com.

SNOW COACH TOURS

Snow coach tours are a great way to experience Yellowstone National Park without being overly exposed to the elements. Snow coaches are 15 passenger vans that are specially equipped to drive in snowy conditions. Explore the Old Faithful area and surrounding geyser basins while on the lookout for wildlife sightings!
